Colors are everywhere: from the bright lights of the city to the calm blue hues of the sea. Thus, it is hard to imagine our world without colors. When we saw this photo, we were impressed with the photographer’s eye for composition. The choice of colors and objects were very nice and the added effects–subtly intensifying the contrast between the colorful pencils and the dull background–were great. But what struck us the most was the message that the photo conveyed: no matter how dull, dark, and low the world can sometimes get, there is still hope. It is actually up to us to make the beautiful happen.
